Named by her petite size, Jenny Pocket’s talent and energy is anything but little. Since 2009, she has been rocking crowds all over Southern California and major cities across the US. Jenny Pocket has earned her way as a go-to DJ because her ability to read the crowd, her strong work ethic, and doing it all with a smile. 

Clients have described her as easy to work with and someone who knows her crowd. Her goal at every event to make sure that people are having fun, whether they are singing at the top of their lungs or busting out the dance routine to those favorite songs. As an Open format DJ, she can play a variety of music depending on the need of the event and venue. Her specialty is seamlessly blending in everything from Hip Hop and Top 40 through the various decades while sprinkling in some Latin, tropical and up-tempo dance music. 

Jenny Pocket has played everywhere from nightclubs on the Las Vegas strip, to Festivals like American Express Platinum House at Coachella, to local clubs in San Diego, corporate events, and exclusive celebrity filled events like Comic Con and an Anheuser Busch’s event where she received a public shout out from Ludacris.

Many corporate clients and destination management companies have sought out Jenny Pocket to DJ for their events.  Some clients have included Guess, Google, Human Dignity Foundation, SONY, and others. She is even highly requested when performing with her violinist as their duo, Pepper & Pocket. Jenny Pocket lays down the tracks and Violinist Amy Serrano enhances the music with the strings of the violin and engaging the crowd.

 To continue her growth, she participated in the School of Scratch, 100 Days of Scratching challenge, teaching herself for 100 days to scratch and improve her turntablist skills. She has also participated in several DJ competitions. In 2013 she became a finalist and only woman in the Dave & Buster’s DJ Competition. She was also the only woman selected to complete in the 2019 Oxford Social Club DJ Competition and placed first at the Nissan Supergirl Pro Sound Sessions competition in 2017.
